Well, what a summer it’s been for festivals! We love every event we do, whether it’s a corporate event, an awards dinner, a birthday celebration or a world conference! But my word do we love the festivals 🙂
Festival season started early this year in May, when we had a brilliant event down in Tunbridge Wells. What started as an empty field ended up with a big top, and a full night of music from The Feeling, Craig David, Kaiser Chiefs and finally RPJ. What a day!

The Feeling
By the time July arrived, we were more than ready for more. We had The Supergroup out rocking the Hersham Beer Festival on the same day we had Mica Paris, The Feeling (our dear friends!) and RPJ smashing Lowdefest in Hampshire. What a brilliant day! And the rain held off too. There is nowhere quite like Britain when the weather is good.

We followed this up with Oxted Beer Festival and The Rise opened for RPJ – well the crowd were truly ready to party and The Rise had everyone singing along and warmed up for when RPJ came out – by the second song they were leaping in the air and loving every minute! Meanwhile DJ Lora was playing dance music over in the Retox bar, where a mosh pit soon erupted. Another successful festival event!
And on to TFest up in Grantham, a large private festival event for a financial company – they had a number of bands perform during the day before RPJ took over for the big finale. Set the beautiful grounds, the views were incredible and the music was even better.

The Supergroup
We followed this with Sportfest, a family weekend of sport with superstars from the world of rugby, football, athletics, tennis and many, many more – encouraging kids to get involved in sport early on. Some future Olympians perhaps? John Barnes was in fine form and Will Greenwood leapt and danced and sang along as RPJ rocked the Worsley Estate as the sun went down, what an unforgettable end to a fantastic weekend for the Sportfest crew.
Holbeach Festival was the next stop and it was more of the same… The big rock show in front of an enthusiastic audience! Festival organiser, Sean said,
“Rick and the band were amazing !! They got the crowd involved which is exactly why I booked them so please pass on my thanks to the whole band. We had a great crowd with around 3,000 people and everyone has commented how amazing they performed & sounded, so for me as the organiser they did me proud!!”
We have more to come this year, and lets not forget the many festivals we have attended as guests – a rare treat for us – it’s been an incredible summer so far, and it’s not over yet!!
