This was to be our first time playing the awesome Lowdefest festival in Hampshire. So to be asked to headline was a huge privilege, especially when the band on before us featured 80’s legend Paul Young!
The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, with the sun beating down on the 6000 strong festival goers, who had all traveled to this boutique festival.
Paul Young’s band Los Pacaminos went on as the sun set and warmed the crowd up perfectly for the RPJ Band, and so when the lads took to the stage and opened with ‘Somebody Told Me’, the festival went crazy, and they did not stop singing and jumping for the full set, and as the boys came off stage they left to the whole crowd chanting ‘RPJ, RPJ’!!!
We loved being part of this festival and really hope that we can come back in 2016!
